On Looking Back: #posthome_theatre
By Orly Noa Rabinyan
Out of a deep longing for the act of gathering in a shared space, I look back at the work I have been making in the last decade: the #posthome_theatre trilogy.
While fragments of conversation accompany the re-viewing, only my side of the dialogue is heard. Who is on the other side? When theatres worldwide are "dark", is this merely a conversation with oneself?
As time continues to reshuffle, I have found a new point of view directed simultaneously back and forth, inwardly and out. This is an epilogue to the trilogy and its 10-year creative journey, but perhaps also a prologue allowing the next stage to ripen and take shape in the face of uncertainty.
